This is my first time ordering flat back earrings. It's been less than a week and I'm happy that I switched over to them. They are a game changer! I can wear it to sleep and in the shower. I don't have to worry about getting poked by a earring post or taking it off. The earrings were smaller than I expected so it took me about 15 mins to learn how to put it on but the insert tool helped me so much. I like the lover style more the classy girl. Great question! 18 gauge is just a tiny bit thicker than 20 gauge—only about the width of a two human hairs (0.2mm). It won’t stretch your piercing or cause any harm, especially if your piercing is healed. It’s totally safe and super common!
If you're used to only buying earrings in pairs, it could seem strange that these are sold as singles. Our studs are sold individually to allow mixing and matching in various piercings.
Example: you can buy two for your lobes, or a single for a helix or other cartilage piercing
